I noticed the same thing. Kinda dissapointing for me. I liked assigning a unique icon for my conversation windows.

No Java here. I'm not even browsing Java enabled sites. The iTunes store works properly and when iTunes is launched the default view is my libary in standard list form, it's not opening to Cover Flow or the store mini or otherwise. Seabass, is there a debug build you can send me to install so I can run through the steps and then send you a log file?
I don't think you understood my post. I understand how processes running with standard user rights cannot process messages/interact with processes running with admin rights. I don't have an issue with running ObjectDock as admin but I'm wondering if it is entirely necessary for ObjectDock to launch programs with elevated rights. I figured ObjectDock would continue to launch the apps using standard rights even though ObjectDock is running with admin rights in order to maintain complete control
What OS Philiac? Is this all occuring on 64bit Vista?
I verified again before posting that it works fine if launched from the Start Menu but changes the screen to basic if launched from the Dock. This with Object Dock running with and without administrator rights. I can reproduce this every time. I get the same behavior in IE on certain pages. I hit a link that sent me here[link="http://blogs.mercurynews.com/aei/2008/01/a_massive_mea_culpa_and_apology_for_a_b
****Update - I closed the Mouse and Keyboard Settings (Setpoint) software and launched it with Administrator rights and then launched IE from the dock and I was able to use my programmed mouse buttons. I guess everything launched from the dock runs under Admin when the dock is running with Admin rights? Thanks. I'm running ObjectDock with Administrator privileges and run into a problem where applications launched from the dock lost the ability to receive commands from Log
I run into a problem where running iTunes from the dock causes Vista to run the desktop in basic mode. I'm running Vista 64bit Ultimate w/SP1 RC1 and ObjectDock 1.90 b537u. I have an nVidia 8800GTX with 169.25 WHQL drivers installed.
I'm having the same issue. I'm running Vista 64 Ultimate w/SP1 RC1 and ObjectDock 1.90 b537u.
km7kumar and Mogumbo follow the instructions that DocKeulxxx put in reply #1: Here's how you get the beta: - Go to Stardock Central - check the box "show pre releases" (on the lower left) - go to "Misc" Category -> there you see the 1.90i beta
Thanks, I found it shortly after I posted. I forgot that I needed to install Stardock Central. It's been a while.
Now where do I find the beta download? I just purchased the Plus version. I used to have a full OD subscription and that had it's own app which let me download beta versions, I don't see that here. I'd go full OD again but I don't need all of the functionality right now.
I had issues with certain skins not working properly but for the most part it was fine for me. I'm running Win2K3 SP1 Standard on a Dual Core A64 processor, ATI 1900XT card and a NForce 4 SLI ULTRA motherboard. My consistent issue which prompted me to uninstall Windows Blinds was the program crashing and locking up the system whenever I tried to switch skins. I would have to switch, let it crash and then reboot to see the skin applied. I never bothered posting about it because I never saw an
