I'm not sure if I want to get much into the deep clean process. Your product should be able to work effectively with a basic install. I hope you have access to a touch based pc to test this issue out.
I spoke too soon. As soon as I posted the fix works, the problem is back. But not as frequent.
The purge and reinstall appears to have done the trick for the touch triggering the Windows 11 Start. I didn't try and use my backed settings in case that messed something up. Rebuilding wasn't a big issue. Thanks
Does the purge process wipe out my configuration for the start menu? If so, is there as way to save and recover it or is that part of the process?

I continue to have problem when using Start11 on my Surface Pro. It been there since your first release but I've mainly be using my mouse. When using the touch screen at least 50% of the time the Windows 11 start menu comes up rather than Start11. Sometimes the Window comes up first for a second and then Start11. I have the latest version of the app and the latest public Windows. Let me know if there is anything I can provide to assist in evaluating the problem.
Thanks very much for the Lock menu in version 1.1. I suggested it for my tablet, but I have also found some issues with a mouse. Exactly what I was hoping for.
Using the Modern interface in Start11 I have add some issues where I move the icon quickly it disappears. I close the menu and reopen and it's blank. I retry a couple times and then add the app again. Sometime later I open the menu and the missing icon is there and the additional one. I am not sure I can recreate it, but it's happened at least 4 times in version 1.0 and 1.01.
Take it out of Tablet mode and you should only get the Start11 menu.
When I am using Start11 with my touch screen or pen I find situations that I accidently move an item into a new location in the group. Not a big deal, but you tend to get use to items in certain locations. Have you considered having a "locked" state which you can toggle on/off (possibly with a right mouse)? Not a must have, but would help out the tablet users.
I've enjoyed using Start11 on my Windows 10 before taking the plunge into upgrading to Window 11. Unfortunately something got messed up with my configuration and my old Window full screen menu is popping up when I link the desktop. Strange indeed. Any suggestion what I did to get into this mode? I tried to reinstall Start11, but didn't do anything. *** Problem solved. Tablet mode was enabled by accident.
