I was going to ask the same question, even though I am a month behind. I hope it's on the schedule for the near future.

I don't actually know if I have an issue without knowing if all the Windows 11 styles work very similar. If I change the style to Windows 11 will it retain the tab groups I created in the Launcher style? Can you go back and forth and not lose anything without Backup and Restore? A screenshot will just show a menu without any Recent Documents section. I am using Beta 1.04 on Windows 11 23H2 I did notice a small bug. The backup file menu uses "Ope

I am using the Windows Launcher style with the new v2 Start11. I was using the Windows 11 style with v1. Are recently opened documents available with Launcher style? I have the option enabled in the settings.

The multi-device upgrade is now available, so I went for it. Activation was clean on both desktop and Surface Pro and no issues so far. Trying out the Launcher style and enjoying the new tab groups rather than scrolling. Keep up the good work.

I tried using the upgrade link, but it was only under the single license. If you have a multi-device license, does the upgrade cost quote from entering your email account for that?

I am having slipping problems in the time field with the updated Start11. I am using moment 2 on a Surface Pro 7 with touch. Here is the screenshot.

I am indeed using the latest 1.41. This is on a Surface Pro 7 using the touch mode. It does flip to the proper display depending on what window or start menu you did, but I haven't worked out the combination required.

The 1.36 version displayed properly but with a touch screen alot of times the microsoft start menu would launch. The 1.4 appears to impoved that issue, but these is a clipping or centering issue now with the display of the taskbar icons, clock, etc. They are at the very top of the taskbar and not centered. That behavior does change to the correct view when you slide up then it's auto hiding.

I thought I submitted this post, but I cannot find it, so I will try again. Microsoft is adding more Touch Friendly features to Windows 11 and Edge. The option, called touch mode, can be toggled on or off or set to switch automatically. When enabled, it rounds the corners of various UI elements of Edge and spaces buttons, icons, and tabs further apart. I am hoping you are considering these types of features for Start11, especially for icons in the taskbar. It'

Thanks. That is a good workaround, although there is more room on my menu changing the width temporarily. Or changing group icon size to tiny. You consider my suggestion to more easily move groups around the menu. I know you can have multiple pages. I will play more with that setup to see if I can get used to it.

I am on the Windows 22H2 version 22621.674. Here is a screenshot of the top section of my Start11 menu. If I want to move the second group (Multimedia) further down past another group which isn't in this screen, I don't seem to be able to scroll to place it.

With a large set of icons in the group, it becomes difficult to move the group up or down in the menu. It doesn't appear to scroll down to the area to move it to. Is this a different method I should be using? There is a right click function to resort the groups. Could I suggest a new menu function to move the group up or down, or key stokes. That would solve this problem.

Keep in mind when we are selecting icons with touch screens we want this distance. I understand but haven't tested the Windows 11 update which determines if you are using touch and adjust accordingly. In Windows 10 there was a Tablet mode, but that was removed from Windows 11. I am hoping Start11 will use a similar approach.

I have the same issue on my Surface 7. With a mouse or touch it occurs 30% of the time and usually the next click the Start11 menu is back. With the Surface Pen it starts to flash back and forth rapidly between the two menus. I have seen the behavior in all versions of Start11 including the latest 1.24

I am using Start11 on my Surface Pro 7 touch with no problem. I am using the Windows 11 menu format centered. I have had the built in Windows 11 start menu sometimes pop up with touch but not mouse. The lasted 1.22 version seems to have improved that issue.

I installed the 1.18 beta. The trigger issue doesn't appear to be as common. There also appears to be more space between the taskbar icons which is great for touch. I will continue to use and let you know if the problem is minimal. I was disappointed that the grouping feature only works with the left aligned start button (based on the initial install). I've been enjoying it at the center. Is that going to be an ongoing limitation.

I did some additional testing and when another app is running and in the taskbar this problem is triggered. If nothing is in the taskbar it isn't there. I hope that helps.
