New bug Any Fence portal linked to "my downloads" has a bigger scale then all my other fence portals and fences. That is the thumbnail images and font size is bigger in any of "my downloads" folder portals compared to the rest of my fences Edit - I was able to fix this by changing "view" back to "medium icons". After the update it just slipped out (nothing was selected at all somehow)
Got you thinking, right? 🙂
Yeah I suppose the basic premise is to better define tabs. So far "segmented style" with "transparency" set to "on" nails it. But the challenge is bringing that to the other styles. It will be fun to see what the developer thinks
Here's another variant.... an option to wrap an outline around both the active tab area and the active title:
Looking at the screen shot I can tell having an outline for a tab does look good and this would include segmented tabs style as well. Aside from doing borders or changing opacity perhaps an easier approach (that would also look good) is simply making the inactive tabs lighter in color similarly to how "da
I think 100 percent opacity is the way to go here. Tabs look good so why not. (But I will never say no to more customizations none the less) You will probably still need a hover indicator of course so opacity could go down to 80 - 90 percent on mouse hover only As for active tab indicator, keep the faded font for inactive tabs. This works pretty good for me. That and color coded fences should make navigating tabs pretty easy.
So in effect, you are saying that if I still want to control up to 9 PC (KVM Pro) I will need to stay with Multiplicity 3?
Just to throw out there multiplicity 4 pro now controls 5 pcs where as the older Multiplicity 3 kvm only controlled one. It is a pretty good buy unless you do in fact have 9 pc's you need to control.
@ richfed If you are having troubles the first step is to verify your settings are correct 1.You will want to make sure you have do in fact have the new "tabs" option in settings and that it is "enabled". (In my screen sh

If that is the case, how do I create a [new] tab? I read through this thread, but found no answers, and the tab menu in Fences 6 seems to only say, "to create a tab drop one fence on top of another." [By the way, I tried to do that by making two new fences and dropping one on top of the other,
My desktop currently features a whole lot of fences where I keep links to all my files and programs. How will tabs improve on this? With Tabs you can stack all your fences into different groups to save on space and clutter. Basically, this means yo
Here is my absolute favorite political scenario right now in a what if situation. In this scenario Donald Trump figures out how to give presidents 3 terms only to have Barrack Obama also take advantage of this. This situation creates a head to head battle between Trump vs Obama. That would be a really fun match up.

I always wished someone would post youtube video tutorials myself because skin studio isn't very easy to figure out
I recently stumbled on this documentation for skin studio, maybe it is new? Section 7 may help https://www.stardock.com/products/skinstudio/help/toc.htm
Thanks for answer, but i need to know if Start 11 latest version support Windows 11 Pro.
When it comes to compatibility it is more in the update version then it is in pro versus home. With Start 11v1, I believe support ended with 23h2. It may still be compatible with 24h2 but I still would highly recommend start 11v2 as it is still in active development and will be updated for whatever changes Microsoft may throw to
It was an unofficial update from the start 11 team that allowed the two programs to work better together. What sections are disabled? I do believe certain taskbar features from start 11 are unusable if another program is altering the taskbar and thus should be disabled.

I believe the OS has many elements to it that frustrate the skinning community and it would be nice to have a tool to alleviate some of these headaches. AI would be able to do a lot of tedi

And that's precisely why AI is the worst thing to use here - it literally can't feel emotions, and cannot create anything meaningful without copying already existing material. If there is one piece of Stardock software that frustrates me it is definitely skin studio (props to all the skinners that have mastered it)... Sign me up for having AI do it for me. I bet that would increase the amount of new skins for Windowblinds by a lot!
As frustrating as this may have been for us Stardock users, I am sure that pales in comparison to how everyone within the company felt. It is very nice that you took the time to be transparent with this post. I am glad to see mostly everything up and running again
Welcome back Stradock, I'm really excited to see how the final product of Fences 6 turns out! This isn't a new issue but it is a little more noticeable with tabs When using pages: The animation when going from one page to another often shows the incorrect configuration For example, the wrong open tab will appear open only during the page switching animation. Or a rolled up fence will appear open during the page switching animation If I hide / unhide my fences v
