completely closing out of classic shell fixed taskbar skinning. the text in the notification area and the rest of the taskbar except the clock is still white which makes it quite difficult or impossible to see with some skins.
that sucks. restarting is the one thing I didn't try after i closed out of classic shell. i'll try it when i got time and see if the problem is still there.
is there no way to get taskbar skin textures to apply? what happens on my end is when i apply a skin, instead of it applying the taskbar texture it just shows the solid color from the windows settings. ive tired multiple skins, closing out of classic shell and googling the problem nothing has worked yet. also, all the text in the notification area is white like default as well and the start button textures don't seem to apply either. what does work is the texture of the buttons for programs t
