There are 2 different places where FIPS is set. One, from the referenced article at the beginning of the link, was set off. The other, further down in the article under "Administration Policy" was set on. After turning it off, without a reboot, has made the portal work. Thank you!

I understand. I have a Delphi package handler from TMS software that manages my subscription with them, about 12 different packages. I use it to keep up to date with their releases. It also uses encryption (AES) and has no problem on my setup. Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks for the information. FIPS was turned off already
And no, this is not a work computer. This is my home PC.
I have already done so. So basically, it doesn't work. And the solution is for me to manually check for updates for each product. So much for efficiency, right?
Thank you.
Yes, I have done so. I have tried Windows 7/8/Vista compatibility, running as Admin, etc. Here's my hardware list: --------[ AIDA64 Extreme ]---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Version AIDA64 v6.32.5600 Benchmark Module 4.5.841.8-x64 Homepage http://www.aida64.com/ Report Type
Tried that several times. It starts, a form is displayed, the cursor spins as if loading, and it all goes away.
Correct.
The Object Desktop. Latest version, just purchased about a week ago. Everything else in the bundle works fine.
I installed the product and it comes up, showing a screen, the icon a swirl. Then it shuts off. No error. No window. Anyone have a fix?
