I have fences 2. Suddenly I was unable to move icons into a fence. And all my icons that were positioned over a fence were no longer attached to a fence. And now many of my icons do not appear on either of my two display although the path for them shows as existing in the Desktop folder. What to do? Thank you

I am also having this problem. I work around it by opening the Fences config window and adjusting any of the color sliders. Moving one of them resets the icons which have lost their color. Restarting Windows Explorer works as well, but neither of these methods is permanent. I'm not sure what is causing the problem, but it occurs frequently throughout the day.
