A new Dream is out, it has pretty snow, people would like to be able to change the background to one of their choosing, and within 24 hours this feature has been added. I feel that this deal does not support older subscribers who have subscribed for years but either can't or won't pay for more than a year at a time, I mean a new subscriber joins tomorrow for 2 years gets a free skin, a current subscriber has been paying in for 5 years and gets nothing, seems a bit unfair to me, maybe longtime subscribers mean nothing and it is just the quick injections of cash that Stardock need.

Updates to existing Dreams are free. That I know but Neil has given the impression that this would be a seperate dream This second pictures one is due for release within the next few weeks as another premium dream. ...as another premium dream. Not as an updated current dream, so can someone clarify whether it is a "new" dream or an update to the Desktop Collage dream. P.S. I think you guy

You will be pleased to hear there is another pictures based one (As seen in screenshots before) which does handle multiple folders and does handle sub folders - though adding the entire drive C would be most unwise! This second pictures one is due for release within the next few weeks as another premium dream. Will owners of the current one get a free upgrade or will we have to pay out again?

...Currently we are trying to reproduce the issues users were having (not switching to the dream, a black screen only etec.) and get a fix in place for it before we repost it. Like was said on the thread before the dream was removed, we had not seen the problem previously in our testing. I personally have been running the dream for over a week now, have switched back and forth between dreams (I test all the dreams that users submit to the site before pos

Desktop Collage Dream in Stardock Support General WinCustomize Forums

Yesterday (UK time) I purchased the new MasterSkin Dream Desktop Collage which was not working and so I posted that it was not working and so did quite a few other people after me, now the Dream has disappeared with no explanation as to what is going on either on site via PM or email so I was wondering if someone could let us know what is happening with this Dream. I have looked all over the DesktopX website and it does not say that it does not support preW2K, it just says that it enhances your "Windows environment". You could be right that it does only support w2k and above but it does not state this anywhere officially as far as I can see

Problem running DesktopX on W98SE in DesktopX Stardock Forums

When I try to run DX on my W98SE laptop I am getting the following error "Desktop does not appear to be installed on the current machine. This widget needs DesktopX installed in order to run."
