I'm encountering the same problem. There used to be an add 'Flyout Menu' docklet, from the pop-up menu for adding items to the ObjectDock. Here is the Properties dialog that i can still access from an existing Flyout Menu: Here, I clicked on the icon (with the red arrow), and the items in the red box would 'fly out', and then spread in the arc fashion
