Would it be possible to add a backup function to Start11 that backups your whole Start11 menu? I believe this is kept in the registry so it could be a simple addition? For the Windows 10 Menu I used Backup SML for example, handy when you lose your whole menu or parts of it due to an update. On Mac I use something similar, Launchpad Manager that backups my Launchpad.

So would this be a good practice for installing and upgrading to Windows 11? Install Start11 and import Windows 10 start menu into Start11 Win10 style. Upgrade to Windows 11 and run Start11. Would my Start11 Win10 style start menu be preserved then?

Thanks Neil, useful info! I'll install Start11 on my main machine right away then as I prefer the Start11 Windows 10 style over the real Windows 10 start menu. I'm not worried about it not importing my Windows 10 start menu layout/items, I'll make use of the opportunity to reorganise my start menu. I really love we have multiple pages in your Windows 10 style and the visual and full screen enhancements look very nice.

I only installed Start11 on a test laptop I have with Windows 11 installed. But if I would install Start11 on my main Windows 10 desktop: - Will Start11 copy my layout and apps from the Windows 10 start menu? - When I upgrade Windows 10 (with Start11 already installed and organized) to Windows 11, will my layout and apps in Start 11 remain intact?

[quote who="Chulamin" reply="72" id="3823743"] Hi, Windows 10 theme Groups are still fussy to move around although better. It seems that more options to fine tune were added but the effects of these were not always clear. After much trial and error, I managed to get what I needed but as I said, groups can still be a problem to move around. Thankfully, I don't need to do it often. The big thing is that the start menu doesn't always come up until clicked a

Using latest build of Windows 11 and Start11. In Windows 10 mode when using full-screen, you can't get your apps to the top, there's one row of unused space. (Picture 1) When not in full-screen mode you can use the top row. (Picture 2) I really love the full-screen mode and hope this can be fixed. See pics please: <div class

Hello, I just bought and installed the Start11 beta on my test laptop. If it wasn’t for this fantastic app I woudn’t even think of using Windows 11 on my main desktop. I’m using the Windows 10 Start Menu configuration. Three things I seem to miss on first sight: - Get rid of “recently installed” in the start menu. - I can’t drop apps onto each other to create a folder in the start menu like was possible in Wind
