I've re-installed windows - problem solved
Hi Sean I seem to have other windows 10 problems as I cannot access defender and controlled folder access. I'll have to resolve the above before reverting back to you
Tried the purge again and tried installing the latest version. Same result - "decompression error" when installing. i have to cancel an abort the installation. Not sure if this info will help - I used a "forced uninstall utility" before using the purge
I've tried the purge patch trying to install v1.8 I' still get errors when trying to install. I've attached screen grabs of the error messages
