Odd to see an easy fix go un-tended. One click open and one click to close. That is not time consuming and will stop the windows from un-rolling just by a mouse-over. Sometimes it is a dance to get to the window you want due to others opening and covering the one you want. HmS

It should be a "roll" or "noroll" option choice that can be enabled or disabled at will. Merry Christmas

Only alternative I see is to leave them open as double click 'checks' the Rollup option. Is that what you do?

and here we are at the end of 2021 with Fences 4 that unrolls with mouse-over even with the 'rollup fence' unchecked. Once I double-click, the fence re-check the 'rollup fence' option
