Fences 6 upgrade from 5 generates File version mismatch error

I've upgraded from Fences 5 to Fences 6 and I get the above error message when trying to configure the app. I am on Windows 11 Home 10.0.26200 Build 26200 and am using BitDefender anti-virus. I have restarted the computer and reinstalled the upgrade several times and the same error occurs.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
