Thanks pelaird. I was able to find a free app that works great! No longer going to use Multiplicity. I appreciate your responses and suggestions!

What should I try first ?
Is there anyone that can help? Please?
Windows version/hardware specs Windows 10 Pro - 64bit AMD A10Pro, 8GB RAM Has the app ever worked - Yes If you are getting an error, what is that error - No error messages, but Multiplicity shows as disconnected in the system tray on the primary computer. Exact steps to reproduce the issue, perhaps with screenshots/video to help illustrate your issue <li
Thank you.
@basj When will I hear back from someone at Stardock? Are they done vacationing yet? I need to either get this fixed or get my money back.
Thanks!
Hi pelaird. There is an Adtran modem where the internet enters the house. From the modem it goes to a Calyx router. It is not cable. I rent the equipment from the telcom and they took the old router, so I can not hook it back up. As for the Windows Network settings, I have it set to private on both the primary computer and secondary laptop. Any help is appreciated.
Oh, it also shows Multiplicity as disconnected in the system tray.
Thanks!
Oh, and also rebooted the PCs and the router.
Ugh! All the typing and waiting for a reply and just posting links is not helpful. I just renewed it thinking that may help, but it still doesn't work. I have both PCs connected by Cat 5 to the router, turn off firewall on both. Still doesn't work.
It seems to be connected but I can't move the mouse to the secondary computer.
Are there any other options for support where someone could stream in to my computer and figure out what is going on?
I got a new router and now Multiplicity does not work. The SSID is the same. I have verified the passcode in the settings on the secondary, but it is still not working. Any ideas? Thank you.
Well, that worked! Never thought of doing that. Not sure why the icon in my start menu is not working, but at least I can access Multiplicity this way. Thank you.
I have Multiplicity. I am trying to change the settings. I see the icon for it, but when I click it, it does not open.
It was the troubleshooting guide.
This seems to be resolved now. The issue seemed to be that the laptop was set to public, instead of private. Once the connection was changed to private I was able to connect.
What do you mean "should be able to do those in KM column only?" It's scanning for the secondary computer and not finding anything. I'm not sure what to do so I can use this.
Both primary and secondary say this....
Which version do I have installed on which computer? My primary ? Or my secondary? And how would I find that out?
I have installed Multiplicity as the secondary computer. When I go to the primary computer and scan for new computers it does not see my secondary computer. I am not on a public network.
Still struggling here. I think I was able to uninstall Multiplicity on old laptop. Where do I go to install it on the new laptop as the secondary computer? When I go to the Primary computer and scan, it does not show up. So do I need to install it on the new secondary computer? If so, how??? Please help!
