Thanks EDIT - As a new poster I can't make another post, so I can't reply sorry. The issue isn't getting rid of the folder, it's that all the links disappear if I get rid of it. I've actually installed something else. I'd already spent so much time trying to sort it out I'd reached the limit of my patience.

Thanks, I found how to hide the folder on the left side via advanced but in doing so I lost all the links in the folder. I've tried deleting start10 but now that hasn't undone it. This program seemed great so I paid for it. But then things moved on my desktop making me wonder if I was losing it, and now I have this epic folder with over 25 links in it that windows won't let me sort out. For example I had an acer folder with all my Acer progs in. That now has 1 prog

I have just wasted 30minutes wondering what has happened to all my prog links. I think about 80% at least have been put into universal applications. This is not helpful. I had everything nicely organised and now I have a massive jumbled list to wade through. I've tried to find a solution with no luck, does anyone have any ideas? In configure, universal applications is set to don't show. But it is still in the programs menu after a restart. I'd like it gone and my progr
