Hi I am finding that when I apply a style, I have a black background in all folders? Terry B

I have used Desktopx 4 for a while now without problems. However, on reinstalling my OS, I can not get hold of it anymore and I am sadly missing it. Does anybody know where I can get it? Previous versions do not do what I want it to. Thanks

This is a common problem as is the fact that some people cannot get WB to skin. Read the forums and you will see various workarounds and suggestions that have not worked for me so far. I am having exactly the same problem although I am running XP Home. I have been running WB for years without problems and now this. Done all the normal uninstalls and reinstalls and allows me to run after install but on rebooting I get the same message as BrianPaige. Seems to be a few out there with this problem but nobody seems to have a solution.

Updated to WB 5, silly magenta object appears above shell. What goes? Cannot even get full screen display? Suggestions anyone. Terry Booth
