seperating the start button and task bar. in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

is there a theme or shell which enables you to have a start button which can be skinned to look whoever you like and be totally separate from the task bar and sys tray. the start button would be like a desktop icon, only look better and be more customizable. also could the same shell or theme have a task bar and systray , which auto hide to the side of the desktop?
