Did you try restarting explorer after changing the icon?
Open the folder you want to search and use the explorer search box. This should let you search for properties and file contents. This assumes you have the advanced Indexing Options set correctly.

Maybe a detailed search can find the thread.
I found the thread, but I don't think it will help. It involved the user bricking his computer when attempting a clean boot. He ended up wiping his drive, reinstalling the OS and then Deskscapes which worked correctly. It also involved an upgrade from 23H2 to 2

Can you imagine how long it would take to search your entire drive for content in files, even if it’s only in a few file types. It makes more sense to use the Explorer search so you can limit the search.

It looks like there is not enough room for two columns and so the Start11 is defaulting to a scrolling menu. If you reduce the size of the grid area to say six icons wide, is there room for two columns?
The values are in pixels (before OS scaling). You can save time with changes by just opening the config and changing pretty much any setting. There is a section on the right side of each page of the Config app that is missing, like an invisible overlay. The cut-out stays in the same place as the window is scrolled. EDIT: I had created a Restore Point before installing 2.4.9.4, so I reverted back to 2.4.9.3 using the RP, everything in the Config app was back to the expected behavior. I then Uninstalled 2.4.9.3, and installed 2.4.9.4, and the same issue appeared again. It doesn't make the app unusable

On privacy and device fingerprinting. It's unfortunate, but it seems to be the way of the future. I'm sure some of the Web browsers, who are dedicated to privacy, will come up with ways to make your device look more generic or less likely to be unique. Also, we can use other search engines that are dedicated to privacy, such as DuckDuckGo. One thing I have noticed about the younger generation, is that they are more willing to give up privacy for convenience. I have two adult c
It's not really all that nefarious. If you open Edge and search for Google, the first listing is Google, the second is google search - Bing Search, which takes you to the "fake" imitation search page.

The padding you are referring to is affected by other Start11 settings, such as "Header font" and % size, as well as "Adjust global menu scaling." For this reason, I'm guessing the value for padding is hard coded in the program since it is adjusted based on other settings. I would recommend a feature request. [e digicons];)[/e]
