Probably this is related to my issues with DeskScapes, doesn't show any backgrounds/wallpapers, everything is just blank. Uninstalled/reinstalled, used the DSPurge script, etc. no luck.
I can confirm that the Latest Backgrounds are missing from DeskScapes.
Hi, I get the gist of it, but the video isn't clear enough for me to see what you're pointing to on the menus (this with 2 24" monitors), and I looked at it several times. I managed to get to the screen with the Icon selections. But I don't see a "Settings" anywhere to add icon folders.
You will need to click on the gear icon (settings) at the bottom right and change the playba

Time to find a new PDF app. I use PDF-XChange which is comparable to Adobe Acrobat. There are many others available. Not sure about compatibility with Windows 7 though. You could also try deleting Adobe Creative Cloud, but it requires a special cleaning tool which is available from Adobe, but they make it very difficult to find. You could also change the settings in your router to disable Adobe Reader’s access to the internet.

Although I have tried putting the taskbar on the right, left, and top over the years, I have always returned to the bottom. I prefer my taskbar on the bottom. My reason for posting the info in this article is the implications for Start11. If Microsoft is making major changes to the taskbar code, it will most likely break many third-party tools that provide improvements to the taskbar. I much prefer the Start11 Enhanced taskbar to the default Windows 11 taskbar, and I doubt any changes

Need to know a few things: 1) Full Windows version number xxxxx.xxxx format (please use winver.exe to check). 2) Full Start11 version number 3) Is your start button on the left or centered? 4) Is the Enhanced taskbar enabled? 5) Is your taskbar at the bottom, top left or right? 6) Are you running multiple monitors? Also, do know that you can only use a custom Start button if aligned left without enabling the Enhanced taskbar.

Reply to slow in DeskScapes

Yes, the Dream downloads seem to be running really slow, but it has nothing to do with a Windows update. The WinCustomize servers are just slow today.
Hi everybody, is there any update on this? I like the start11 menu very much, but I'm not a fan of the left-aligned text under the icons. As I could not find any setup entry yet, I finally ended up here... many thanks!
What style Start11 menu are you using? The Windows 11 style, Windows App style, Windows Pro style, and the Windows Launcher style all center the captions.
One more follow-up question. I still don't see an option to change these settings in the actual configure/settings menu of the interface. Is this now (and always going to be) a registry edit only?
Time will tell. It’s certainly possible if it’s popular with users. Didn’t realize you hadn’t installed the latest update to Start11. Glad you figured it out.
