Vista SP1. WB is the latest 6.2. Issue #1: This happens when the Skin is set to rollup on right click on the title bar, as well as when I choose to over ride the skin's settings from the WB Config window to have a window rollup on right click. The skin in use does not matter at all. When you right click on any explorer or IE window ( 7.0.6001.1800 ), others as well, you get the default menu, Maximize, etc... instead of just rolling up a

Video Driver is up to date, SP1 installed on vista yes. IE was just an example application where it does work as intended, but the version is 7.0.6001.1800. SDC is version 2.54.524 build 167. Impulse works just fine, I can hover over the bottom middle and the dock comes right on though. I"m not sure yet if it's just with SDC that this happens, I'll let you know if I find others.

In vista, when I boot clean, load any application ( Let's use IE as an example ), then press Alt + Tab , I get 2 diffrent options to pick from. 1) My IE I now have open and 2) One labeled "Desktop". My Current Dock bars number 2. One at the top, and one at the bottom of the screen. When I select option 2 above, "Desktop", I get a clean window ( as expected ) with my top dock bar only.. My bottom one vanishes. Any Ideas on what to look for? THe top bar is tabbed

WHen ever I have ... say an IE window open maximized, occupying the entire screen, i can point to the bottom middle of my screen, and my object dock bar comes to the front no problem. However, if I open SD Central, and maximize it, I can point to the bottom middle of my screen all day long and my dock NEVER comes back to the front... ( it doesn't have to be maximized, it just has to cover the area I could normally point to in order to cause the DOC to come to the front ) <P

Ok, I have this figured out, partially. I'm also using VTP 5.5, and that's what's causing this to happen. I'm fine, until I load that up. Then the Windowblinds Config screen is no longer big enough to fit in it's space, so the bottom few options are off the screen. Going to try a few things and see if I can make it right again.

Well... not any dialog. Only in window blinds configuration. The last item for minimizing to the tray is partially over the bottom border. even with NO theme ( default windows ) selected. Perhaps those options are on down the screen where I can't see them?

I think I see what's going on... I can't see the bottom of any dialog box. It's all out of wack and off the bottom of the window. I've tried uninstalling eveything, removing all skins / theme's...

I see the override default settings, but I do NOT see anything about the click options , or an advanced setting button.. The last item on that screen is for when minimizing - Minimize or go to the tray. Here is the dump from the config screen.WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 5 (5.1 (build 82 x86)) WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC You have one monitor in total. Having this same problem again.. I just re-installed, and it's back. Yet now, when I right click the icon in the tray, I get the configure screen up. There is no USER settings anymore, and I can't find a way to override the skin's double click on the title bar setting...Any clues?

13 Replies 4,262 Views

Maybe I've lost my mind.. ButI can no longer get to user overrides. I've just re-installed windows, and windowblinds. Loaded my skin back, etc.. I can right click the WB icon on the taskbar, click configure, go to "Override Default Settings", but there is nothing there for going though the double click actions or any other for that matter. Where did this setting get moved to? I can't change it in my skin, as I posted earlier, I've done that and it doesn't work.

13 Replies 4,262 Views

That did it. Thanks. Does anyone have a clue though why setting it at the window level using skineditor doesn't work on some skins? Currious...

Playing with many skins, I'm having a common problem ( 2 in particular, Eminence and WhiteFlame ). Rollup is not working. I've added RightClick and set it to a value of 4... Nothing. The only thing in common I can find here, is that all of these skins use transparent titlebars / borders. If I create a new skin, and add RightClick and set it to 4, works great. Why would that be? What could stop it from working in "some" skins?
