After downloading what I thought was a new Start11v2Beta (10/27+), I actually ended up installing the last Start11(V1) = 1.47. After a reboot, everything is again working, clean and stable. I'm going to stand pat with that until S11v2-Beta++ is far more stable and has far fewer problems.
Using S11v2B1 -- Changes to the Config/Visual appearance Fonts tabs are not "sticking". I have repeatedly set Item font, Header font and/or Menu font to 110%, 120% etc. but one or all often (but not always??) revert to "100%" after I close and then reopen Start11v2. I missed the fact that this was "Beta1" in the announcement, installing it before I realized that. I regret that. Calling this a "Beta" is being generous. Can I reinstall Start11(v1) over v2 to revert to the last
I think that "icon" next to the "power button" only shows up in you have an "show icon" option. I turned it on, thought it looked ugly (small useless icon) and turned if back off.
Same issue with " " popup shown for any "Display as menu" (Control Panel, Univ apps, etc.) item in the quick access shortcuts list. Not seeing any [count] tooltip. "Feels" like a "Run as Admin" (not as Admin) issue... Running Start11v2 BETA 1 on a WIn11 Enterprise PC. Have rebooted since install (updating from latest previously-released Start11), S11v2B1 activated.
I have Groupy2 (first official released non-beta) set to auto-group several apps using the "Only allow specified apps to be in a Group" option on my Win10 Pro PC. This includes Acrobat Reader. This was working fine until I used Acrobat's Advanced Search which creates a floating window. Its "Arrange Window" option will put the Search and doc window side-by-side for easy searching, but Groupy2 prevents that by forcing each window into a separate tab. <
Tiles 2.0 (64-bit version), latest Windows 10 I have Tile's Position "Make the bar appear on top of other windows" disabled, so that other windows are on top of Tiles. That works--for a while. But after a while, Tiles will begin to force itself on top of other windows as those windows are dragged around the screen. I haven't been able to find a pattern to the cause.
