I have used the same version since the day it came out and had zero issues. Check your drivers and keep in mind, sometimes those driver changes mess up the settings (especially with AMD Radeons) when the screens have to re-detect. It is easier to remove all profiles and start from scratch than it is to try to "fix" the issue caused by the AMD drivers. I have an NVIDIA card now and never have any of those issues.
