As I said, I don't think it's information that is made public.
Island Dog
I don't think that's information that is made public.
It's on sale for just a few more hours on Steam. :) http://store.steampowered.com/app/202200/
The game is the same regardless of where you purchased it from.
First to get it. :) Steam key for Gal Civ II: MN3RB-6YV5R-WX8A5 Happy Holidays!
My Sith Assassin is around level 22 or so. One thing though I noticed, healers are in high demand.
I agree, this is a fabulous game. The story is great so far and really does make you feel like you are really into it.
As far as Stardock coming out with a new direct download service, I would be surprised if gamestop lets them. At any rate, there are already too many service out there for digital downloads. Steam ftw.
Stardock Central will be for Stardock products (apps/games) only, it's not going to be a 3rd party service like Steam or Impulse. :)
It's the same game regardless of where you purchased it at. :)
You still have access to your game on Impulse, and soon via your Stardock account. Steam is just another distribution outlet.
I think Steam puts one up, but usually takes a few days after launch.
i bought the game from retail shop as i already owned the sucky impluse and now it is available in steam which is fantastic . can you inform them to fix it as i already own the game in impluse and i should be able to download from steam when i type in the cd key......? oooooooooooooooooooo
Keys are not transferable to Steam. Steam is a different retailer so previous keys will not work.
You don't need to use Impulse anymore. Get direct download links from here. https://store.stardock.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=/myaccount/products
I'm just not seeing why I have to use your bandwidth instead of leeching of Valves.
Digitally doesn't mean it's freely available at any outlet. That seems to be an impression some are trying to make. You can use Valves bandwidth all you want if you purchase from Steam.
I thought you sold our accounts to Gamestop so you could get out of the digital distribution business and focus on software? This looks suspiciously like a digital distribution source for Stardock titles.
Two different things really. Impulse/GameStop is a 3rd party retailer. Stardock Central will be a download manager that will only distribute Stardock games/apps. <a href="https://forums.wincustomize.
No, keys cannot be transferred.
One thing I'm curious about: On Object desktop subscriptions- if you let them expire, can you re-download what you bought earlier even if it's after the date? I'm liking some of the programs already.
I don't think you can as of right now. My suggestion to anyone is to download and backup to an external drive or something similar. <
It's easier now to backup your apps. Just download the installers from your account and put them on an external drive, or wherever you have your backups. https://store.stardock.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=/myaccount/products
Now if I want to play/download GalCiv, GalCiv2, Demigod, or Sins I have to use Impulse, which was fine when Stardock owned it. However, Stardock doesn't own it any more. My games didn't transfer back to Stardock, which is my main complaint. For now, I'm only purchasing games on services that I feel are going to be around for the long haul and are not GameStop.
I would suggest contacting support, as yo
Sorry, if it sounds like I'm being a jerk... but this *does* beg the question. Why would I buy a game from your store when you just sold your LAST store to GameStop? The last thing I want is for another batch of my games to end up in the clutches of that slimy organization.
GoaFan77 pretty much nailed it. Stardock was the original developers who started distribution of games/software via digital distribution.
There's no information right now about Rebellion aside that the pre-order is only via the Stardock store. There's no association with Rebellion with Steam or Impulse at this time, we are focused on our store right now. Rebellion is also a stand-alone expansion, so you don't need any previous Sins games to enjoy it. :)
I've heard of people playing it on a Netbook, but I also read the screen resolution was an issue for some.
As far as I know, some were converted to suites as they were used in other packs, but that didn't apply to all the MyColors themes.
