Hi Sean and thanks for reply but following your steps it doesn't work and always open the browser for update info and download . Is there any workaround which would let me still using the beta build ? ( registry or anything else ? )

Hi Sorry to post here but didn't found other than releases topic to ask. While it may sound strange , I'm pretty happy with a previous beta build ( no issues with my config and other apps unlike most recent curtains releases ) but my problem is I can't load ith anumore as it leads me to your web page with new release to download . I just want to use this beta version even I paid for curtains but how can I stick with and prevent to open my browser app for up
edit update: seems I talked too fast . Got today the same message from Startisback. Seems obviously I have a conflict with. Wondering how others startisback and curtains users make them working beside...
I finally fixed startisback conflict with message " press ESC to prevent SIB from loading " and broke loading of some other apps at the same time ( 7 taskbar tweaker for example ) I made some tests ( uninstall both apps and install again each ) which forced me to rollback to a previous build ( 2.9 ) , and at boot no more issues. So conflict came with SIB build 2.9.1 ( last current one ) , I'm quite satisfied to have all system work fine now and SIB 2.9 is ok for my daily u

Thanks , I then have to figure why my system behaves like that
Still having conflict with Startisback 2.9.1 prevent it to load correctly ( got message at desktop boot " press ESC to prevent SIB from loading followed by black screen - Uninstalling Curtains solves it .
This is Statisback which popups a message at desktop boot ( " press esc to prevent SIB from loading " ). Curtains loads correctly but this issue disable some progs from starting ( in startup folder ) for example 7 taskbar tweaker beta.
Hi Dunno if it does care ( as Start 10 is provided at Stardock as start menu alternative ) , but seems there is an issue with RC2 and startisback , prevent this one to load correctly at desktop boot . This prevent then some other progs to load from startup folders ( 7taskbar tweaker for example ) Event reproduced several times compared to beta 6 and 2004 version ( 20h1 and 20h2 )
Hi Is there a way to disable additional caption layer ( like persona style background buttons ) for windows which only display close glyph ? It fits ok when 3 buttons are available but also for a lone close button ,so the visual result isn't very nice with
Thanks for reply , I somehow manage to make it work ( using another config file ) On another pb , is there a way in beta 6 to reduce space between buttons or maybe in future builds ? I tried to expanse size of image but no results
Anyone else have found that "close glyph " doesn't scale and align correctly with UWP ? ( the glyph size is reduced when UWP running ) Otherwise it works fine with all other apps.

I also have a question about curtains styles sections for buttons when using other custom styles. I could set curtains to only apply shadows and allow skin of UWP and at the same time keep my current custom theme ( not using curtains but custom theme in resources folder of windows ) for titlebars and buttons. It works for every apps but not fully for UWP ( tile frame correctly skinned but not for buttons of my current custom theme , UWP keep displaying native windows 10 bu
Hi all I was wondering if there is a way to change styles from a running command or whatever to some shortcuts desktop so we can change the style on the fly instead of having to open the app and select from there ?
Thanks , I found what was causing this , all is fixed . Btw , in text section is it possible in new betas to add a " Text X Offset " as for Y ?
I can't find where to edit text color for captions of classic windows ? Is there a setting like for UWP ?
Thanks for explanation [e digicons]|-)[/e]
I was wondering if there is or will be a user manual to easily figure how to mess / edit with styles config file ? Understanding sections and values ( example : I saw somewhere values like " Right / Left/ Top/ bottom " are there refering to margins / offsets or dimensions ?
Thank you so much Neil , the square is no more visible :) [e digicons]:dur:[/e] Have a nice day
Hi I'm very satisfied with the lastest beta 5 . I just need some help about getting rid of the native RED square ( background of CLOSE button ) Trying Persona style I 've searched everywhere in sub folder , can't seem to find where to change the background neither in Persona (Modified).CURTAINSTYLE file nor with png files . It ONLY occurs with Universal Apps I'm pretty sure I'm missing something easy to achieve that ,
Yes I understand , so if I manage to make under curtains my customs buttons it should be working I guess.
Hi Neil Here is the custom style I'm using: https://www.deviantart.com/devillnside/art/Strata-X-821573 And what I get when forcing curtains options for UWP Buttons are not skins like theme ap
Hi " Support for the new options in the UI to force styles on or off a universal app" I noticed titlebar on modern app are ok but buttons captions ( close / min / max ) still get the native default ones
Hi I noticed some inconsistency about menus depending on locations : see screenshot Is there any way to get same shadow settings everywhere or maybe in further betas ? Seems taskbar jumplist don't use the same drawing ( because immersive ? ) compared to desktop right menus Config : windows 10 1903 x 64 <span style="color: #ffffff; font-family: 'Proxima Nova Regular', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
