I could understand if maybe the original release OR the just released expansion had an adequate number of quests. They do not. How many doom clubs or escorting the same noble woman can I do on each replay? A DLC is no longer "optional" if it provides content that was severely deficient in the original release.

It's helpful later in the game when your fighting Dominators alot. Most of the Dominator systems are on the left of the map, and by the time your well-equipped enough to start hunting them a fair number of stations that border those regions have been destroyed. It's very convenient to have nearby stations to repair and dump your loot. I usually outfit them with whatever big guns are available they are selling and make sure they have decent shields/repair droids. I will store modules and artifact
I got to the map and your talking about and it is quite difficult. It's the first map I've played that I have not beaten in 15-25 min. The starting location is absolutely terrible, as your literally right in the middle of 3 cpu factions in a very confined space. The two closest resources and your base have no buildable turrets. I can take out the blue faction reasonably quick but the red faction always beats the green about the same time and eventually rushes my factory which is very difficult t
I usually use 4 launchers/mortar/blocker with 4 repair/locator build with antigrav legs. I have not played the map your talking about yet but have played one where I had two opponents in a triangle who were placed extremely close to me on a small map. I waited until one side made a move to the other cpu opponent then swooped into the attacker's base. With an additional side I would do the same maneuver and leave no robots on defense. You can usually pump out 1-2 robots if an enemy starts to make
I'm running Vista 64 and can run SR2 with no problems. Only time I have glitches when I use my laptop with Vista 32 Home Premium and run it off the battery. Then I have this wierd graphics glitch where the graphics start overlying each other. Completely goes away when I plug the laptop into the wall. As an aside this game rocks and I'm glad they choose to release it out on Stardock. I was pretty mad recently when I tried to reinstall NWN2 after I bought the expansion pack and misplaced
I really loved MOO and MOO2 and the Civilization series. After reading the reviews I bought the original GalCiv and didn't like it at all. I came back for GalCiV2 /w the DA expansion and found it decent but not great. Now I recently but the Twilight expansion and I still find some design issues that really keep this game from being a real successor to MOO2: 1. Combat- Giving the player some basic tactical decisions really adds some flavor to the game. The MOO series with the simple grid a
