Thanks for all the replies, people. It's given me some leads...even if the main one seems to be, don't use Classic Shell.

I love the Lantana theme on Windows 7, but it does something screwy to the font on my clock/calendar and start menu (using Classic Shell). It's using some sort of shadow on the font, and it's very difficult to read on my start menu. I'm guessing there's a way to alter this font using SkinStudio, but I can't figure out how to do it...can someone point me in the right direction? Changing the color from black to something lighter would work nicely. <img src="http://i.
Ah, I had missed those Font settings under Color. Thanks! I can already see how to fix the size problem (I'm using this on a 1920 x 1080 17" laptop screen)...but so far haven't seen how to change the color of the fonts used in the Task Bar and Start Menu...
I just installed version 8.12 trial on Windows 7, and selected the Lantana theme. I love the look of what it does to my window title bars and borders, but not what it has done to the text of Firefox's menus, the Windows Task Bar, the Windows Start menu, etc...it has reduced the font size and changed the color to black. Is there some way to just use the title bar/border part of the theme, but not have it affect the fonts?
