Newbie question

I just installed version 8.12 trial on Windows 7, and selected the Lantana theme. I love the look of what it does to my window title bars and borders, but not what it has done to the text of Firefox's menus, the Windows Task Bar, the Windows Start menu, etc...it has reduced the font size and changed the color to black. Is there some way to just use the title bar/border part of the theme, but not have it affect the fonts?

Well, the Lantana theme works fine for me on Windows 7 and on 8.1, so the black you're seeing is apparently due to a bad install, or something on your PC is interfering.

Firefox changes so much, I don't know if windowblinds totally skins it.

As for the fonts, they are set by the skin creator. If you had the full version of WindowBlinds, you could change the fonts/sizes. I don't know if you can in the trial.

Ah, I had missed those Font settings under Color. Thanks!

I can already see how to fix the size problem (I'm using this on a 1920 x 1080 17" laptop screen)...but so far haven't seen how to change the color of the fonts used in the Task Bar and Start Menu...

Open WB config, go to Color and click on Fonts. Put a check in Do not apply any skin system wide fonts. Fixed!
