Thanks for the reply Sean It was a REQ file that was created 3 times each without success. But everything working now. Solution below I have previously had the experience of being given the wrong serial key (can't remeber where or when) so I sent for all my Start program serials and the one showing for Start 11 was different from the one supplied to me on the purchase reciept when I first purchased it (Start 11). I then entered the one shown in the

Back again Basj Still no luck. Tried different PC. Different USB drive. Recreated file on Win 11 lappy and tried again. Still told not valid. Ernie

I am trying to do an off-line registration of Start 11 (upgrade). I have installed Start 11 on new Win 11 lappy and selected to do off-line registration and a file (Start11.req) is generated (1.25kb in size). Copied to pen drive then onto Win 7 machine and tried to upload the file to HTTP://activate.stardock.com When I do I am told the file not recognised. I do not want to connect new win 11 lappy to internet until it is fully setup with all security and taking backup

I am just waiting for delivery of a new Win 11 laptop and have the following question. I have purchased Start 11 upgrade . When I install this onto the new laptop will I have to install previous versions ( either versions 8 & 10 upgrade) before 11? Or will I just install version 11 and if\when requested just in put the serials of either (or both) 8 or 10) It has been that long since I have had
