So I was curious about my purchase history. I've been a customer for a very long time, but the purchase history for my account only goes back to 2004. So I decided to take a stroll through my email archives, and I was able to find my original ODNT subscription dated February of 1999. Which means I started with Windowblinds in 1998, though I could not find any "paper" trail for that purchase. In addition my user number on Wincustomize is ... 64. Stardock apps are such an

I just noticed we have the same "joined" date. Interesting coincidence.
Much appreciated, that did the trick. Have a great what's left of your weekend.
I've tested Windows 11 and Start 11 on my system a couple of times, but there are too many changes that interfere with my workflow for me to have stayed n W11. However the last time I rolled back I discovered that Thew Universal Apps menu in Start 10 no longer launches any of the apps. If I go to the Win10 Start menu they launch just fine. I've removed both the Start apps, Start 11 was still installed even though I did an O/S roll back. I also before reinstalling Start 10, del;eted
I've deleted this post as further testing proved everything I'd added to be inaccurate. So nevermind that part. I couldn't find a way to simply delte this last post so I just changed it to this.
Using the "Start" key on the keyboard works without the flickering, so it does seem to be the mouse button activation that has something to do with it. I'm also seeing strange sizing behavior on the Start menu when it opens on the secondary and tertiary monitors. It is extended at the bottom quite a bit. But the icons and the search/programs bar are all located and sized correctly. There's just a lot ob lank space, the same background as the Start 11 menu, but empty. This happens w
I'm well aware of that. I'm reporting things I see because I wanted to help with the development of the products.
I just wanted to point out a few things I'm seeing with WB 10.89 on Windows 11, newest build as of 12 August. I know it's not supported yet, but just wanted to list what I am seeing so devs know, just in case I've tried smething that hasn't yet been seen. 1. Many dialogs are blanked out, right below the title bar, inside the dialog. Depending on the skim loaded this might be blank white space or it might be transparent. The space is approximately the same height as the title
Strange result with Start 11 on my Windows 11. I suspect this could be a combination of the apps I use, but I haven't been able to isolate it yet. Three Monitors, on secondary and tertiary clicking the Start menu icon opens the start menu. But on the primary monitor the Start menu might open, might flash several times before opening, or might flash several times and not open at all. If I disable Windowsblinds (or rather select "default" WB skin) this does not happen. <br
I'll stay tuned, and thanks for your help.
This did not fix the problem, I'm sorry to say. Ran the batch file as Admin, rebooted (I actually did a Shutdown and power on) and the precise symptoms remain.
AzDude, I have more details to add to the issue that I have discovered while tweaking at it over the weekend. The issue seems to be that several setting in the Global options drop down are not actually executing correctly. And when I select the "broken" ones and then reopen the Default property tab that are actually saved as a different position setting. In the thumb nail this difference is also reflected on any wallpaper that doesn't have a specific alignment set. These "remapping" do
AzDude, thanks for jumping in and passing it along. I've set a sub to this thread so will get notifications of updates.
Here ya' go Windows 10 2004, fully patched, [Version 10.0.19041.508]. DeskScapes 10.02. Only one monitor. RTX 2070, driver version 456.38.
If I go into Settings for DeskScapeS and try to set Default Background position to any except "Auto scale for monitor shape" no matter what I select it always saves the settings as "Stretch" instead. I can set any given background individually and it works fine, but I cannot changer the Global setting. I have a 3680x1600 monitor and I want Top Aligned to be the default. Help, please.
I was able to get in later this afternoon. I also had to make sure I was using the Wincustomize user name but the Stardock password
And I have already opened a ticket. Just wanted to post here so original poster knew they are not alone in the issue.
I'm having the same, or at least a very similar problem. I even created a new account and it fails to login as well, This happens on both Firefox and Edge Chromium, and on multiple machines, including one that is a new full install of Windows 10.
Thanks, Neil. Makes perfect sense, I just wanted to ask to make sure.
It does appear that when I reapply WB I do get the dark theme applied, ever though I had previously set it to light in Windows 10 and dark only in Curtains. But Curtains now shows default Windows skin loaded. WB = 10.84 Curtains = beta 1 W10 = 19041.208
So far I cannot see to apply both Windowblinds and Curtains. Is this supposed to be an either/or situation? If I apply Curtains, then Windowblinds always gets set back to Default Windows style, and if I set WB to a skin, then Curtains is completely overridden.
Thanks, I do realize how difficult skinning is under the newer, better, Windows version. Try supporting, managing and patching it on 90,000 machines.... ACK! Cough.
I've done some searching and cannot quite find what I'm trying to do so I'll ask. Forgive me if it is a duplicate. I want to prevent WindowsBlinds from skinning at least some, if not all Windows 10 built-in, modern apps. For instance Sticky Notes. I found the EXE for the app but adding it to the exclusion list seems to have no effect. I'd settle for a "exclude all modern apps" check box, quite frankly. Or "only skin Win32 apps"
And I've only been a customer for 20 years. I feel so inadequate. [e digicons]:)[/e]
So glad ot ahve WB10 on my desktop finally thanks for all the work getting it out this year. Not a big deal, and easily remedied but wanted to make note here: Installed fine but at the end generated a failed activation notice. I ran the software and it showed not activated, so I selected activate with Stardock account. This also failed, even though I an an ODNT subscriber. I had to get my ODNT code and add it manually to the activation screen to proceed. Just wanted
