ya if you have deskscapes as a seperate install it doesnt show grayed out lol im going to try wolfs suggestion for the time being.it would make sense that hiding task view and unchecking everything under advanced might be better for the time being if your deskscapes froze though instead of reloading your gfx card drivers you can also try this. bring up search screen and type in deskscapes 8 (assuming the freeze got rid of your right clicke

the problem isnt the program as much as it is alot of codings changed in windows 10 there is an update of fences as well of alot more they are working on for windows 10.all we can do is be patient.remember rome wasnt built in a day

you should just be able to type in search remove programs,click on the old remove programs list and it should be listed there to uninstall.after that it may require a reboot.

thats cause most of these things are compatiable with windows 8.1 not windows 10.they are working hard to get the things updated whitch to my guess is going to be the entire object desktop suite as most all the programs talk to the other programs on that.they are well aware theres issues,this cannot be helped and windows 10 is still a baby.one suggestion is look at the compatiability list and see if anythings installed that is not approved of some sort of functionality,like mordenmix and remo

ahh ok.ya honestly i wouldnt mind if the inside of a folder could be themed or colored.i think it used to be possible in older versions of windows and may or may not with windowblinds.ive been on 10 for awhile so im starting to forget all that skin and windowblinds does even though i used to use them

task views one of the main problems.strangely enough it also went to activex mode after adding start10 going into a fullscreen game then exiting the full screen game. ive seen issues more with task view but i havent used task view in awhile just went back to start 10 and this happened.reassociating your drivers auto browse seem to correct the freezes as well.its just a glitch well have to get used to.unsure if start 10 is a problem as well but like i said it was working

O.o. whats this about compatibility mode for deskscapes.i had to do no such thing nor did windows 10 tell me deskscapes wasnt compatiable. this is weird if its doing that to some.i installed normal from a fresh windows 10 pro O.o. perhaprs it gets weirded out if you had it on 8 and upgraded and got confused in registry i have no clue.but on 10 it installs without a hitch.i play alot of full screen games and it works fine,only freezes on task view.i dont think its entire
