A bug is a bug (if the AI got a tech it was not supposed to) and a cheat is a cheat. ( the AI knows somthing you don't know or has an advantage you don't have). Its unfair to the developer to confuse the two. As far as cheats go, many are covered by the backstory (yellow stars, for example) I won't say the AI never "cheats" but I do make distinctions for what might be bugs -they get fixed. I suspect that the AI gets the Ranger as a random event more than I do, I sus

I have a game saved where one of my planets has the crossbones on it. I built multible improvements on all the plannets in the system to get get rid of it including 4 cultural starbases in the sector. Its influence points were higher than any other race's in the system and it would not go away! Now the kicker, the sector went from green to blue, The icon was still there, The torians planet in the sector defected to me and the Icon was still there The torians were defeated, Th

I Play in the normal size map so I don't park a constructor mext to the base I give the ship away and see what happens, when or if the starbase is destroyed I purchase a constructor at the nearest planet and then I grab the resource. (hate cheeze). that would work against a human, if he was at war with that race. I never destroy built up starbases, but if I see a resource free up, I grab it. There are just times to sell specific ships, if you have 100 its painful. :D [Message Ed

If I want to sell a specific ship to an AI because I want him to destoy another AI battlestation with it so I can grab a resource or somthing...It is very painful. You have to go the the relations screen find the AI find the ship and so on.... Wouldn't it be cool if I could right click on a ship and have a sell to option...c'mon, admit it it'd be neat!

Played on normal intel, normal size, I was a pacifist with 50% weapons, luck and creativity. I had great starting position, and 4 galactic resources including 1 in a five planet system that had not one planet under 15, WOW! So I set military to 100 cranked out colony ships, expanded as far as fast as I could, My only neighbors were the yellow (best) and the red (weak). I had no fleet, so predictibly yellow starts asking for planets and eventualy goes to war, I used a colony ship to offe

Also noticed that pictures of a defeated race came up to join in a war agianst me when a race that was still alive declared war on me. (probably just the wrong image) Might be related to the sort order of the races changing on the relations screen as the game progressed (I did not notice that on 103, is that new?)

when I bought a wonder outright with nothing else to build, the popup that show ist don does not go away until you research somthing new to build on the planet.

played on normal, normal map, was neutral Played my first game, first the things I like, The ui is better in the trade screen More cash! Now what I either hate or don't understand. 1.) Trade goods are not worth researching 2.) The AIs go to war with the human for no reason I can see. Giving them $100 for 30 months had no effect on them.(before a war) and I do mean all of them. the yor the blue and yellow guys were all at w
