@gevansmd, Clarification - I'm not running WindowBlinds, only Fences 2. I misinterpreted OP's "WB 7" reference as Windows 7 Basic. Any idea why having a portal fence breaks Windows Aero?

Nearly two years later, and I'm experiencing exactly the same problem Saytar reported on a fresh install of Fences 2 trial version. This does not bode well.
