Actually I am using fences 2 on Windows 10 on another computer and that is the one I'm trying here. I have a license for fences 3 but it annoys me with the constant nagging to update which only causes more problems. Took my husband more than a week to work his way out of that disastrous update. Just for the fun (??) of it, I tried to install fences 3 and got the same as I did in reply #8.

We have progressed to a different problem. I uninstalled, rebooted computer, downloaded again, tried to install, clicked on enter product key and the pop up did not disappear. IT did this. This is new.

Thank you, I found what I needed to deactivate Fences but I still can't install it on my laptop. See above - When I click to enter the product key, the box just disappears.

I'm having the same problem. When I get the following pop up and I click on "enter product key" the pop up just disappears. I have a product key but cannot get to the place to put it in. Also there used to be a place to see which computers are using which product/product key. Two of mine just fried over the holiday and we cannot even boot them up with boot drives. When I go to my account and go to subscribe my options are to unsubscribe from all posts or to stop receiving email. I want to unsubscribe from just on post about the Fences update to 3.13. I see all the issues everyone is having (including my husband) and I am perfectly happy with Fences 3.09. IT sorts my icons and that is all I need. OK, I keep getting the pop up to update Fences. I have 3.0.9.11 and when I click the button to tell it to update nothing happens. After a few days of this I decided to check to see what is wrong and how to get it to update. I opened fences and went to configure fences and tried to update thru that method but again, click the button and .... nothing. Now I am glad that it hasn't updated. Thank you. I am running fences successfully. I will check my account merger later. Since personal use of fences can go on 5 computers, will I need to run that zip file you sent on the others or will I need a new file for another one. Getting another computer in a few weeks.

I am assuming IE refers to Internet Explorer. I am not using that at all. I use firefox to buy and download the files then I closed it and had nothing else open but the download folder. What does IE have to do with anything??? Why would I reset something that I don't even open??? or load??? or use???

Basj, I tired that using the command for fences 3 but I got 'C:\Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. And I am still having the same issue, there is no place to enter the product key. So either the command was wrong or I am doing something wrong or there is a bug in the software. I give it until Tuesday and I'll ask for a refund.

Still no luck. I have submitted both email addresses even tho I got a message that they had been merged. Each address got one product link and product key. I still cannot use the one I bought today. After merging my emails, I asked for my products and product key but it only showed the one I bought 5 years ago not the one I paid for today. I have the receipt and the product key but the accounts did not merge apparently.
