i've used media monkey - it works really nicely as does iTunes (i have over 20gb worth of music and those were the best for me to use! iTunes is really easy for organizing. media monkey only gave me troubles a few times were it wouldn't change a few files, but other than that it was great. good luck
it is nice hardly using my desktop now though..... i think it might be replaced w/ a mac mini down the road....
oh sorry for huge pics - used my mom's camera *mine was stolen* and didn't know she had hers set up for such big pics!
just a couple new pics to my set up *early pics on the 1st page i think* - still have the same desktop - recently got rid of the gateway laptop and purchased an iBook G4 1.4ghz, superdrive, 60gb hdd, 1gb ram. have my 19" monitor (has analog + dvi) hooked to desktop via dvi, and my iBook via analog, using a nice program to have an extended display when needed on my iBook

another female to add to the list - have always had a computer in the house - even the ones w/ the huge soft-floppy built the desktop i have now - all with my money too and am quite proud of it - then built my sister's computer. recently picked up an iBook and love using mac now too
um.. PSP = PlayStation Portable...... the last major firmware update added a browser to it, and since it has built in wi-fi you can access internet, hence access gmail just as you would using firefox, opera, ie, etc. ..
i love object desktop subscription - especially since i can add/remove programs as often as i like with ease and try out other programs to the full extent it is definitely worth it 100%
i've used both, and always switch between the two for various reasons guess just depends on how i feel lol i think both are pretty good to use
... if you want one - IM me on AIM, gfcentral002, that way you don't have to post your email address for the world to see lol and i'll send out invites - i have like 100 i think to give away *i don't know that many people*
Gmail is an email service offered by Google - hence G-mail *GoogleMail* it's something simple, not super fancy like AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo *i use all 3 of those also! - the later 2 are my spam boxes * and you can even access Gmail using a PSP <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smil
i hope they release it soon.... .....
is this version you all are talking about the new winfx they were to be releasing? *i've been house-sitting the past week and playing on my new iBook and now am reinstalling windows cuz my 30 days was up and my friend never got me my product key to activate like he was supposed to... grrr damn him - so i get to reinstall everything again.. ugh life
AOL Explorer (Browser) Likes: - Soft colors used & very simple and organized - tab browsing, best i've seen, with thumbnails when mouse-over on tabs - sidepane allows to automatically check for AOL mail and list what is in inbox - mosaic - cool function that will show previews of all open sites/tabs on one page, with thumbnail preview of history of whatever page is mouse-over in that view - RSS reader in sidepane<br/
i personally prefer AOL and Google over the other 2 - they have all that i need and use. I'm sure this will be going on for a long-time to come.
it was in the widgets folder for DesktopX - i believe it comes w/ it since i never downloaded it separately
sorry - i'm in USD i know that not everyone is.
i joined for the heck of it i have a hard time not messing w/ my computer lol but i always leave it on when i'm sleeping
You see, I don't have the kind of money where I can spend $50 on Object Desktop when I already have it. The only thing that makes it worth considering to buy is WB 5, and that is hardly worth 50 bucks. I am glad that those of you with like 20 computers in one room all with T3 connections can do it. So my thanks goes out t
