Let's also remember that this software is about $7 or so.... I've paid that much for shareware that gets fewer updates.

Well, seems I found the answer here... You can install it but when it actually goes to add on the Start Menu, I get this message and it won't do anything. Save yourself the $5. They should really add a disclaimer that it requires an Intel install of Windows.... and refund my $5.
Seems like you have an issue with Start 11 beta. :/ If I look on the website, it says the prerequisite is that it runs Windows 11. That's it. No demo, so I paid the $5 for the beta because Start10 was so good. Seems odd you wouldn't mention on the website that it wouldn't install or run on ARM on an M1 Mac with Parallels. I'm curious on why it wouldn't. Unless you're installing a device driver, the OS will run x64 and x86 apps if no ARM64 variant is available.
