ok, I just found out what was happening. The new icons/download files are now going into my second screen. Only noticed it because my system crashed and all windows on the other screen closed. lol

Ever since I've updated to 3.1.0.5 all the new icons and download files that I put on the desktop don't show up. I'm I doing something wrong or is it a bug?
