No, I'm more concerned that we are using the metro as a launcher for other apps. I don't want someone to minimize something so that another later user can't launch the other apps that are loaded on the machine. Taskbar just doesn't fit with the overall look and feel of the machine.

I have a public facing perceptive pixel machine running Windows 8 embedded and would like to add a few metro app games to the machine. However, because it is public facing and it's using the metro as a launcher we are locking out all the side swipes and trying to avoid allowing people to exit out to the desktop. I need a close button on the metro apps and was wondering if modern mix would be a good fit for that but I don't want the minimize or resize buttons because I don't want p
