Damn! How did I miss that...? Thanks Gauntlet

Well this is embarrassing.... I've played GalCiv 2 & 3 for years, but not for sometime. I seem to have forgotten how to design new ships. I can get to the design page ok and I've got a new engine on my mouse, but how in the heck do I rotate the ship so I can place the part at the back/underneath? I've done this a million time before but right now I'm clueless :( Sorry for this really stupid question. I've checked the manual and the wiki but not getting the info I'm
Watch out for pagefile size recommendations issued by Microsoft! I have win7 8gb with pagefile set to system managed. Here's what that page shows now: minimum: 16mb Current: 8112mb recommended : 12168 now the recommended value is calculated by the system which automatically sets the pagefile size (coded by MS) which is recommending a value and also ignoring the value. So if windows (coded by MS) doesn't understand how
That's great! Thanks for the tip. Hopefully this should give me exactly what I want :)
Hi, I bought this game when it first came out and loved it. However there came an update (2.8?) where the AI got a lot harder and now the games is 'different' than the one I bought and enjoyed. Unfortunately I also had the same problem with STEAM's "Sins of a solar empire" but I did already have that game on original stardock version so i'm happy playing that instead of the steam version. I've found GalCiv3 on GOG, but it doesn't say what version that is so I don'
oh - sorry. I thought I'd put this is the 'compatibility thread...
Hi, I'm having a problem with the page colour of new documents being changed to the active skin colour, even though I've got the app (winword.exe) set to be ignored by windowblinds. I'm pretty sure I've got the correct executable selected in the ignore list as I've used taskmanager to identify the running program. I'm on windows 10 with all updates applied. (How do I include screenshots in this post....?)
There's a few apps on the published list for object-desktop apps that I haven't received: objectdock, etc. Also I just discovered my payment is an annual subscription instead of a one-off payment  Is there a refund policy anywhere, as object-dock & theme-manager were two of my main reasons for getting this package (I already had 3 of them as stand-alone).
and so thememanager is out too or atleast the themes that come with it and the downloadable ones, so its pretty much a waste of space!
I'm trying to load a theme for thememanager but I keep getting "desktop is not installed..." where can I get this? If it comes with one of the object desktop apps, which one is it? (I already have iconmanager & windowsblinds, windowfx & deskscapes installed on my win7 PC).
I've created a ticket for you and you should receive an email shortly.
I appreciate you're trying to help, but I wont be persuing this ticket: your support tool seemed to be gathering a little more info than I'm confortable with. also: If you have multiple users on one machine and more than one user has icons in fences, when you uninstall Fences then all the users (except the one you&#
well, I've found a way around it by re-loading a previous snapshot, then trying it again. Generally it works 2nd time (it only happens when creating portals)
Hi all on windows7 64bit (sp1) I installed fences on my main (administrator) user, no problems. when I 'switch user' and logon as another (basic rights) user I can create fences, and see those fence-names in the config sections, and I can add/remove icons to those fences, and the fences hide-unhide as usual.... but I cant remove those fences (I see the 'X' but it doesn't respond), I cant access the individual fence options (I see the ico
