I also discovered this issue with Start11 v2 (2.11) on Windows 11 Home 23H2 (build 22631.4317). I have a possible resolution: Change the Target in that shortcut to:
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent
The only drawback is that this change could be overwritten by an update to Start11.
Thanks for the links and tips. [e digicons]:star:[/e]
Thanks for clearing that up. How might I create an image button that would make the effect less noticeable?

I found that setting, and it was off when I saw it.
My mouse software (Microsoft IntelliPoint) doesn't include a smooth scrolling setting. It does have an accelerated scrolling setting, but turning that off made no difference in Start11. Most other apps on my PC, such as File Explorer, Notepad++, SumatraPDF, and Brave, don't scroll smoothly with my current "animations off" Windows setting. I also checked for the "Smooth-scroll list boxes" setting in advanced system settings (sysdm.cpl), but I couldn't find it. Other animation options a
On my Windows 11 PC, in Windows Settings > Accessibility > Visual effects, I turned off "Animation effects". Unfortunately, Start11 and its settings window still scroll smoothly. The settings window also scrolls a lot even when I roll my mouse wheel by just one tick and I set "Lines to scroll at a time" to 1 in Windows Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mouse.
In Start11 v2, I have noticed that certain icons have their colors inverted. Detailed steps to recreate the issue seen: 1. Pin the GeForce Experience program to the menu. 2. Notice the inverted icon colors. 3. Look for the icon in the "All Apps" section on the left. 4. Notice the inverted icon col
I just noticed different version numbers in the ToolTip that appears when I hover over the Update button in Object Desktop Manager.
My request is similar to this one posted by hfball in 2014 . While custom folder links work correctly for me (possibly because my standard folders are backed up in OneDrive), every custom folder link is given a generic f
In Start11 version 1.01 on Windows 11 21H2 (Build 22000.348), if I use the Windows 10 style all programs list, the Desktop folder is not visible ( screenshot ). If I revert to the Windows 7 style, that folder becomes visible ( screenshot ).
