In addition to my report about drag to open not working correctly for some programs. After some testing I've realized that this functionality is broken if the program to which you are trying to drop the file to open is already open. I.e. if you are trying to open the graphical file in Photoshop by dragging it to its representation in taskbar and Photoshop is minimized (its window is not open) - it will work, and it will work with any program I have tested which is in minimized mode. BUT - if
And yet another bug :) Was just watching the video in Chrome, after which taskbar and Start menu went completely broken - see screenshot: http://joxi.ru/E2p9wd4SvG8ZjA The only fix was to restart Explorer. Seems like quite a lot of bugs still present in version 1.2 unfortunately :(
Yo! Another bug (?) have found with drag to open functionality, it does work with select set of apps only it seems, specifically, it does not work for Telegram desktop app and Google Chrome in my case, and most probably for some other apps as well. Please check the video I made about it: https://disk.yandex.ru/i/HZNGBZLK_iunSg Also, drap to open does not work when you try to drag the graph
Yo! Dunno if this bug has already been reported or known, but today I have finally upgraded to Win 11 and installed Start 11 to make things comfortable, and while most of the things so far is working like expected and like before on Windows 10 with Start 10, one feature is not working, at least for me - for Notepad the pinned files and recents are not opening - when you click on them it does nothing - http://joxi.ru/gmv9wq4Se

In fact I didn't know that Stardock has invented paid betas - how? :)
[quote who="PhoenixRising1" reply="44" id="3839747"] It will be out on the Beta channel next month sometime. That one is a bit easier to get on your pc. Neil, in the thread "Suggestion: Ungroup Taskbar [Start11]" located here: https://forums.stardock.com/506843/page/1/#3820353 I put my two cents to discussion of what should really be done (and incentives me to move to Win11) regarding Win11 taskbar disaster, I have even suggested to make a stand alone product "Taskbar 11" but if these features will be integrated to Start 11 - it would be even better. In short - I expect
Ohh well ... :(
And one more question, even though directly not related to the topic - is it possible to change the fill color of the files when you are trying to rename them somewhere? Right now it is light grey (see pic - http://joxi.ru/Drl9eQ4Sy3j5Gm ), and in some programs (Adobe products, for example) it is not shown at all and is confusing. If it is possible to change this color - would be mega cool! :)
Ohh, I see, thanks :)
Thanks, it did the trick, but still counter-intuitive, so if possible please change this behaviour in the future. Also I found another bug/feature that when you open Curtains to change anything, it also reverts back the colors I did choose in colours settings of Windows 10 (here - http://joxi.ru/l2ZQyNOU7e3gwm ). If possible please also fix it :)
Hi, Today I have decided to switch from WindowsBlinds to Curtains, and got a problem with start button change in Start10. In short - it doesn't change at all - I can not click on the option "What should the start button look like?" and it stuck with "Use Curtains button", see screenshot: http://joxi.ru/EA4ZOkPTpanVjm Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong? Before with WB it was active and I could
A question - how does Curtains compare to WindowBlinds? Is it a complimentary product to WB, or stand alone product with its own set of features? Cause right now I frankly don't understand what Curtains does new/better than WB. Care to elaborate? :)
Problem has been solved with new update 1.18, thanks :)
I did what you've suggested and now everything works fine, thanks! But you also need to check your new version installation procedure - cause I have just got notification from WB that a new version is available before - and I have clicked OK to install the new version, and it seems like it was not installed properly or something. I think your programmers or support need to check what is wrong :)
Hi, Basj, I have recorded a video for you, download it from here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/n2x8ts23rzpo3fn/Recording3.mp4?dl=0
Well, a new version of WB has just been released, and I see no changes whatsoever - the UWP programs' windows controls are still unresponsive and Windows Explorer status bar is still missing. I have no idea what fixes Stardock's team were programming for the past two months, but it is obviously not the fixes for these annoying problems... P.S. Yes, I did restart after the new version's installation.
Ok, thanks, man, will be looking forward for a fix :) And no, I didn't know that Office utilizes different skin engine, weird shit :>
