Thanks for your response. I did try to change the number of large icons as I kind of remembered that solved the problem at another time. I will try to do the purge when I have some time.
Thanks for your suggestion but I believe there is a setting for this. How many things you display so that they will all fit in the screen resolution you have.
The start 10 menu is cut off and I can't see or get to the bottom where the search bar is. This occurs on my laptop at any resolution. I believe there is a setting which will shrink the menu so the whole thing can be seen. I tried adjusting the number of large icons to 0 but that didn't do anything. I only have 13 items on the menu and there is a big white space under the 13th which extends through the bottom of the screen
Wish stardock would write something to override this
I have looked all over the internet for an answer and a lot of people get this confused. Can you tell me if the setting I am looking for is in Start10, Windows 10 or Word? I drag files onto the Word Icon on the task bar to pin it to word so when you hover over word in the task bar a list of pinned and recent files appears. It seems I can only pin 9 files onto word. I don't care about the recent files but would like to pin more files to Word. Does anyone know where there
I have 2 monitors and the Start Menu randomly Freezes on Monitor #1. The entire bar is frozen. The only way I can unfreeze it is by clicking on the Start Menu on Monitor #2. As soon as I click on the Monitor #2 start menu, the monitor#1 start menu works again. I have a new Dell with Windows 8.1.
