Hello Where can I find a table that compares the feature of Start 11 Home to Start 11 Enterprise? Thank You
Hi Neil Thank you for responding so quickly. I verified that the Windows Search service was running when I experienced the problem. Hello When I use the start10 search bar, at the bottom of the start10 menu, it will seemingly randomly stop showing all search result. It will start showing only a subset of results. Rebooting the computer solves the problem, for a while; but then after a few minutes or hours the problem will come back. Here's an example: If I type the letter "c" in the Start10 search bar, then: When it works properly: It shows about 30 result
Update: Since my initial post I re-indexed* Windows' search, and the problem was solved. * ( control Panel | Indexing Options | Advanced | Rebuild)
when I search for some programs (for instance "Wordpad" or "Snipping tool") using your search bar - at the bottom of the Start 10 menu - then NO results turn up. When I do the same search. directly in the Windows 10 menu (or in Cortana) then the results DO work properly. For example if I type sn (searching for the Snipping tool) in YOUR search bar I get no results. If I type sn at the standard Windows 10 menu (or in Cortana) then the "Snipping Tool" IS one of the results.
