That worked! I had always clicked into the shortcut when creating the portal on the desktop, but never created the portal to the D: drive and clicked through the shortcut in the portal that was created. Thank you!

I was never able to find a solution. I must remap the one directory every time the computer reboots. It is a SharePoint directory, but I've created a shortcut on my D: drive in an attempt to create a permanent location for the link. That did not work either. I keep hoping an update will fix the problem, but it has not thus far.
I had this same issue in 3.x, fences, but was able to solve it with the shortcut trick, but in 4.0 I have two folder portals to Sharepoint directories. One remains always and one disappears after logging out. I've tried direct links to the folder, links to shortcuts located locally, shortcuts on different local drives... it doesn't matter -- the folder portal to this directory always goes away after logging out. It's shown in the snapshot but using the snapshot to restore it
Certainly. Thank you: Windows: 20H2 (OS Build 19042.1052) Fences: 3.0.9.11 Networked location? Yes. But it sits on my desktop right next to another folder portal to a subdirectory within the same directory as this one (and the other one does not disappear). Until this "event" started happening (the last couple of months), I've had this setup on my desktop in this exact configuration for as long as I've known about folder portals -- so maybe 3-5
I've had a weird issue happening lately where one of the two folder portals is disappearing every time I reboot my PC. I can recreate it, and it remembers all the settings of the ports instead of having me reset my viewing preferences. I save the snapshot, and if I restore a snapshot where the portal appears with the portal already on the desktop, the one specific portal will disappear. Is there a config file I can delete so that it can be recreated or some oth
