That did work, Start8 now behaves correctly on the 2nd monitor, which is a relief. However I'd really prefer Start8 to work with DisplayFusion because I use DisplayFusion to get other behaviours and settings, e.g. to limit taskbar icons to display only if the window is on its respective monitor (which doesn't work on 8.1 even though taskbar properties suggest is should) and dif

The Start8 menu on the second monitor opens and then immediately closes again but only when there is another window open on the second monitor's desktop. The behaviour is worst if an Office 2013 document is assigned to the 2nd monitor. It is now several days since I posted about the problem which, for unknown reasons, has resolved itself. The start menus now display on the correct monitor but I don't know what changed.
I use DisplayFusion to have the taskbar on both monitors. Clicking on the start button on monitor 2 causes the start menu to display on monitor 1 when of course it should display on monitor 2. I am on the latest versions of DisplayFusion (5.0) and Start8 (1.12) Please let me know how to fix this. Thanks, Alastair
Excellent thanks! :-)
I have just installed Windows Server 2012 Essentials edition onto a Virtual Machine (VMWare) and found that it has no start menu!! Disbelief!! But good for Stardock surely! Will Start8 run on Windows server 2012? Thanks, Alastair
