i am on pro edition. i will check it out later.

i uninstalled and reinstalled but at no time did i get a windows message. it has to be some windows setting. but others are having the same issue.
ok i put it into grid windows 7 style and i have tried it on everything and i am not getting what you are showing. i can uninstall and reinstall but what is the windows message you are getting at the beginning of the install? is there a setting you used in start 11 that might be why it is working for you?
i am not clear on what you are saying but the calculator is a program. every program i have tried it will not show the send to (desktop shortcut). give me a program to try to prove it is not there. this is powerpoint i selected.
ok i will try that but my quick reply goes to the eye, preview and then no more, just empty space. i have the snip now but not able to send it.
i am not seeing the send to in either. i am not seeing that long list of choices either. i am trying to use the snip tool to capture what i see but the start screen collapses when i try to start the snip. i took a photo but i can't figure out how to insert one in this message. i am looking at all the choices in the list you have and i have only 13. I forgot to mention, this is the same on both the old Win 10 and the new Win 11 laptops.
I am using the Windows 7 or Modern styles. why would it not be there? i have the latest updates of Win 11 on a brand new surface pro 10.
the "Send to" for creating a shortcut on the desktop is missing from Start 11 on my windows 11 computer. I just bought both and i am sure it was there.
i am having the same issue in Win 11. send to desktop is not there.
please let me know when the next version comes out.
yes but not with windows 10. and this is strange if this is the only one with this issue. now in the past i would do this on a few computers to prove it is the software and not the office 365 or not. i have surface 3 with another copy of start 10 on it and i can try that but frankly, i really have no interest in doing that. i will wait for the next version of start 10 to come out.
ok so here is the part you are missing. the DLL was not replaced when office 365 was reinstalled. i had changed it to a .dll.bak to see if it would be replaced. it was not. so i removed the .bak and then the new copy of office 365 worked.
i run Outlook 365 constantly. i installed the update of start10. closed outlook. the computer reboot and then all office 365 products gave the same message when trying to start. that sure sounds like it was the start program update. we will see as other install the new version. is there a list that says what is changed in each version?
i don't know the version that was released today. on 5/1/2020. the only other version on my computer is 1.91 which i installed after uninstalling the latest version and reinstalling office 365 and no problem. i suppose the last version i had was 1.93 but not sure. i am not going to take a risk with this new version again. how do i find 1.93? since 1.94 was just released, i guess we will see if anyone else has an issue.
so far i still do not understand why you would come out with a version that would make me do all that? i was able to get office 365 to work by installing an older version of Stardock 10. reloading office 365. now it is working but why should i risk loading the new version of stardock if i have to go through all these things to get my office 365 to work again. fix your problem that is causing this! i have owned computers since 1974. i don't want to have to learn how to d
new version of start 10 overwrote a DLL and now office 365 is not working! i get error saying c2r64.dll is not designed to run on windows. what did you guys do. i just got the message there was an update to Start 10 and i ran it. and now every part of office 365 is giving me this error. help now!
