I have tried that, but with no luck. I removed it from the task bar and just have it on the mini toolbar. Everything still works, just curious if you knew of anything that could be causing this behavior?

Windows Version 23H2, OS Build 22631.3958. Start Teams and the icon is small, no other apps have the problem. Not sure if StarDock could be causing it.
On one computer a taskbar icon, specifically for Microsoft Teams went small. All others are the same size. Since StarDock has some features with the Taskbar icons any suggestions what could be causing this? Tried deleting the icon and thumbnail cache but no luck fixing the problem.
When I reinstalled Start11, these were the default Quick Access shortcuts. I was able to customize them how I wanted, and got everything working. Probably didn't need to reinstall, I think this is the configuration I was missing what you showed me. Thanks for the help.
Did what you said. Now the "Windows Tools" directory on my start menu has disappeared. Maybe that was a garbage entry that some how got added. Though on my system I have a "Windows Tools" directory where I put all the Microsoft System Tools, and Administrative tools they publish in Windows. Also noticed a change from my initial screenshot where I had a "Universal Applications" directory, it is now called "Modern UI Applications". Is this a change that Start11 m
Yes I do see all the apps when I go to the Control Panel and click on Windows Tools. Just do not see anything from my Start Menu? Will take a look at creating the system log should I contact support.
Using Start11, in Windows7 mode. What directory does the "Windows Tools" point to. It appears empty on my menu though I have all the tool icons in a "Windows Tools" directory. Can this be configured to what directory this should point to?
Using Windows Insider program so my Win11 version is pretty new, but I don't think that is a factor here. In my Start11 settings I set the control panel to "Display as a Link". And then when I click on the "Control Panel" link
Running Start11 on Windows 11 with the Windows 7 Menu Display setup in Start11. Noticed the "Control Panel" link in the Start box does not go to any feature? Did Windows 11 get rid of the small icon Control Panel in Windows 11 thus breaking this option?
Was thinking being able to put Universal Apps into Folders instead of one long list when I access from the Start 11 Universal Apps folder. Not sure where the icons are located since they are not in the "PROGRAMS" folder.
Just noticed you can config Start 11 to show Universal Apps in their own folder. If there is more information about this, possibly ability to organize them please let me know. Thanks.
Installed Start 11 on a PC upgraded from Windows 10 to 11. Noticed when looking at my Program listing in the Start Menu (Win 7 version) it is showing all the WindowsApps prior to my folder structure. When I go to Windows/Start Menu/Programs, these individual icons at the root level are not there. Where are they coming from? Do I need to organize these into individual folders, but can not locate them in Windows Explorer? <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/
Basj, Excellent! Now how to I get back into config of Start10 once I setup the right click to Win+X. That was the method I used to get into Start 10. Thanks for your help. Al
Without Start10 installed you can right-click the Microsoft Windows Start Button and a nice menu pops up with many direct shortcuts to admin functions. With Start10 installed you can no longer access this menu. Is there another keyboard shortcut? Could be nice if Stardock added this option to the menu that pops up when you right click the start button.
Here is a screen shot of what I am talking about. Does everyone else's Microsoft built in icons look like this in Start 10 with version 1.08? It just doesn't look right? http://netmation.com/download/stardockicons.jpg Thanks.
I just upgraded to Start 10 1.08 and all the icons in the left column of the start menu are black silhouette figures. I see very little color in the whole menu. Is this a configuration setting, not sure what happened, it looked much better with Start 10 1.0. Thanks.
I can delete tiles from the Windows 8 Menu, and uninstall the application in the Control Panel. But it still leaves an icon in the "Modern UI Applications" folder. How can these be deleted since it doesn't appear with the rest of the folders?
Using Windows 8 for the first time. Noticed that on the root level of program icons after installing Start 8 it has a "PC settings", and "Store" icon. I first deleted these and it seemed to mess up my system that I could not access PC settings from the Windows 8 Menu Screen. Are these required to stay here, or can I hide them? What is recommended so they don't appear under Programs when I use Start 8 ? Thanks.
Thanks Neil, didn't think of trying that.
Just installed Start8. One feature I liked in Windows Start Buttons was I could right click on the Start Button and select OPEN. Then easily organize my icons that are displayed by clicking on PROGRAMS. What is the easiest way to access this now, I don't see any way from the start8 menu, and am having problems finding it browsing?
