I just installed v2 (used v1 before). I was surprised, when all shortcut icons where still showing Windows 10 versions of the icons (monochrome). Then I found the new option to change the icon. I tried that with multiple formats (dll didn't show selection dialogue, but I could select ico and also png) but none worked. It is still the Windows 10 icon shown. PS: Maybe it is not called Shortcut list, but link list or something similar. In German it is "Verknüpfungslis

If I use "Windows 10 Style" menu, there are icons on the left side, to open certain folders or settings. These icons are also used in the "Windows 11 style" menu. Which Icons are used here, can be setup in the settings. Because the native Windows 11 menu doesn't have those icons anymore, these icons use the ugly mono colored icons from Windows 10. But most of those icons correlate to either an app icons have a new Windows 11 icons, that is colored. It wo

Hi, I really like the possibility to color the tiles. The thing is, the preselected colors in the list are all to saturated and bright. You have to use Custom. It would be cool, if instead of the preselected colors, the list would contain either custom colors, that the user could define in the settings. Or just a list of the recently used colors. PS: I'm not sure if it is a bug, but the Colour list is missing, if a custom Icon is selected. I have to remove the custom i

(Most of my suggestions are for the Windows 10 menu style, because in General I like this design more than the others. It still has some disadvantages and therefor I would like to have it improved by features from other versions of the start menus.) Add Option to show the classical context menu in "Windows 10 Style" and "Windows 11 Style" (or add "Properties" command to the existing context menu) So basically, I like the design of the Windows 10 start menu. I don't

If you use "Windows 10" menu style and you have "use fullscreen menu" checked and also "show app list in start menu" is checked, the latter is ignored. Not sure if this is considered a bug, because it correctly mimices the behaviour in Windows 10. But I always hated this behaviour in Windows 10 (it was one of the reasons that the tablet mode was completely unusable). I would like to have a fullscreen menu, that still immediately would show the app list left of t

Hello, I used the 1.16 on Windows 8.1 Preview and had the problem that the Windows start button was over the Start8 Button. I than created a my own custom button, that simply has double the width than the default button and set the new design to start 8. I thant had to Start Buttons, one for the windows 8 start screen and one for the Start8 menu. This was useful. Maybe you should add an Option to Show the Start8 Button besides the Windows button to always have to B

Hello, I like to add a link to the start screen that opens the old style start menu. I thought of something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Start8\Start8_64.exe /open_start_menu". Is there any possibility to add such shortcut to the start screen, or the desktop? Cheers

Hello, I just downloaded Start8 for testing. For some Tasks I like to use the old start menu, but General I want to use the new start menu. So I configured the program in the following way: * Clicking the orb opens old start menu * Hitting Start Button on Keyboard opens Modern UI Start Screen * Clicking the Screen Corner overlay opens Start Screen (of course Screen Corners are all enabled) So I like to use right start
