I also see this issue with a Logitech G600 mouse. Unchecking the setting removes the fake pointer for me, however I use a HW-KVM to switch PC's but one monitor stays on the multiplicity slave PC, so whenever I switch PC's I need to toggle this checkbox. The checkbox implies this fake pointer should go away when my mouse returns and appear when it leaves, but in effect I have to toggle the setting manually. Mildly annoying in my use case, particularly when the mouse has gone away and I
