Went thru all three Windows XP Service Packs, Vista's 2 Service Packs, Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and never had so much stuff broke as when I upgraded Windows 8 to 8.1 Preview this morning. I'm 100% with you, compusurf. Microsoft just doesn't get it. Well... they do "get it" but, they're bound and determined to stay the course on their Metro strategy flowing across all devices from phones, tablets to PC's.
