Reply to Dropbox folder in Fences

I understand that, but that's not what was being shown in the screenshot. And ultimately would not have worked. As I said, I'd checked all those options. Stardock reported to me that it is apparently a bug portals experience in Windows versions that use Aero.

Okay, I heard back from support ticket, the action that solved the issue was to run the Windows Aero Transparency troubleshooter, which you reach by typing "aero" into the Start search field and choosing, "Find and fix problems with transparency and other visual effects" and running that troubleshooting in advanced mode. Everything is working correctly now. Thanks.

I'm glad yours is working, I guess. I've checked those adjustment options of course, but I don't want to change "all fences" because all my other fences work fine and I don't want to change that, it's just the dropbox that is messed up.

My fences are generally working just fine, but I have a fence for my Dropbox folder and it's treated differently. It responds correctly to transparency mouseover, but the background is black...which I don't mind, but even though the icons appear normal, I cannot read the icon labels at all. I assume this has something to do with the black background, and I have not found the way to change the background. Any thoughts?

This has probably been addressed here but I've done a search and probably just didn't get the correct wording. I just downloaded a file to my desktop, I have only 5 fences and the file does not appear in any of them. It is a media file and I have a media fence that is set to default with all the media type files, but the file does not show up in the fence. If I disable Fences the file is there on the desktop, but I can't find it with Fences enabled

Reply to Missing Fence in Fences

The problem for me doing that is, the advantage of Fences is that I can have them at 0% opacity... so that's what the snapshots look like, I can't tell what they are... I've fixed it for now, but if it happens again I'll just try restore each snapshot. The snapshots don't include a second page do they? To be honest, I'm having trouble with the pages function overall... sometimes it seems to refuse to scroll.

Reply to Missing Fence in Fences

I could see the items that were in this Fence when I 'refreshed' my desktop, so I could grab them quickly and move them out, then I could recreate the Fence, but it seems the long way around. Any ideas?

Another issue, I've moved a Fence to another page, but it has disappeared. I can switch pages, but it's not there and it's not back on my main page. Of course, I don't lose anything because I can just Disable Fences, but I can't that Fence or the items in it while Fences is enabled.

I've never had a problem with my internet connection icon in my system tray showing that I have a connection by turning green... I put Fences on my desktop and suddenly the internet icon is X's out with a red X... I am still connected, but the system tray says I'm not... I put Fences on my laptop and the exact same thing happened, not immediately, but shortly after. Any thoughts on this? Could Fences be causing it? Seems like it's pretty well indicated since I'v

I haven't bought Fences yet, still in trial, but I'm getting this error message occasionally: "Fences has detected that its integrity has been compromised. There may be a problem with your Fences installation. It is recommended that you uninstall and reinstall Fences." I have uninstalled and reinstalled once already... is this something I will continue to run into? Also, when I do have to uninstall and reinstall, is there a way to save my Fence configurations so I don't ha
